Agents of SHIELD Season 3 Premiere Review

Opening With A Bang!

The latest instalment in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD certainly doesn't fall flat.  I'll try to keep this review spoiler free (of the episode itself, not of last season), except for the last paragraph.

Quite a direct follow up to last season, the premiere opens with SHIELD dealing with more Inhuman business. To be perfectly honest the thing I love most about this show is the mystery. I love searching the annals of my mind to remember the name of a character or a group or a storyline. It's kind of like being Sherlock looking through your comic book "mind palace" so to speak. But, getting off that tangent, the episode opened with action, slowed down a little, but then went back to full force. The mystery of Simmons' disappearance is a little shed light on in the end, but it is still rather vague. Fitz is loyal as ever in searching though. Coulson has a new hand, a fighting hand (see what I did there) this season, and he's up to his old spy tricks. They also introduced a new villain who reminds me of a weird mash-up of Sonic the Hedgehog and Scar from FMA. Skye (or should I see Daisy) is in full superhero mode. There's a new spy ring on the move. I don't have any ideas about who they are, but there leader seems a lot like Coulson's own personal Moriarty. A new Inhuman also appears in this episode.

Overall Score: 8/10
Lots of Mystery (-:

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

Okay, don't read this if you haven't seen the episode. You have been warned.  Crazy fan theory follows.

Simmons apparently is now lost in space (or another dimension?), and with Fitz discovering that message in Hebrew, am I the only one thinking they could be setting up for the Sorcerer Supreme?
