The Court of Owls is Coming to Gotham!!!

A few days ago Bruno Heller confirmed to ComicBook.com suspicions that the "Court of Owls" would be coming to Gotham. We may be waiting for a while though, as he also told them, "We are absolutely going to explore that world down the line. Looking at the longevity of the show, we have to hold some cards back, we can’t just throw all of the elements, all of the story at once."

In an interview with IGN, Scott Snyder (co-creator of the Court) stated, "All of us on Team Batman are genuinely thrilled and honored that the Court of Owls is part of the storytelling plan for Gotham. The show is constantly looking at the mythology from new angles and we can't wait to see what it does with the Court! Huge thanks to Bruno Heller and all involved!"

The Court of Owls, who made their first appearance in 2011's New 52 relaunch, have been one of my favorite parts of Scott Snyder's excellent run as head writer of Batman. They are a secret society comprised of Gotham City's high society. In the comics, they have special agents known as the Talons who carry out their nefarious bidding. But, I don't want to spoil to much. Gotham is on Fox Mondays at 8/7c.
