For Halloween and the two days before, (starting today) I will post a personal selection of some of the creepiest, eeriest, and most macabre music in pop culture. Make note, I have not seen every movie, played every game, or watched every anime, and if I leave out one of your favorites, my apologies. These are not in any particular order.
L's Theme Death Note L's Theme is a song that is very clearly based on Tubular Bells, best known as the theme from The Excorsist. It gives it a bit of a twist, adding some dissonance, using various instruments, and giving it a little of L's trademark whimsy. L's Theme was written by Hideki Taniuchi.
