At the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival this year, it has been confirmed that a Sword Art Online movie is coming. Not many details are currently known, but we do know, Tomohiko Itō will be directing it, character design will be handled by Shingo Adachi, and A-1 Pictures will do the animation. Reki Kawahara, the writer of the original light novels, will be penning the story for the film.
