The Killing Joke Gets Green Light for R-Rating

   We've known since San Diego Comic Con that The Killing Joke, the comic widely considered the greatest Joker story ever, would be getting an animated film adaptation, but as of the Batman: Bad Blood Panel at New York City Comic Con we have learned that Warner Bros. has given the film permission to go for an R-rating. The R-rating is not confirmed, but highly likely considering the very violent and graphic nature of the story. The story written by Alan Moore is about the Joker's efforts to drive Jim Gordon insane by shooting his daughter Barbara, thereby proving the Joker's philosophy that one bad day can make someone go mad. He's proven wrong.
